The general terms of sale are provided for the purpose of enabling buyers to place an order. By placing an order, the buyer acknowledges his/ her complete acceptance, without exception, of the general sales conditions.

1 – PRICES 

1.1- The prices that are listed by Keylock Games ltd include up to 60 minutes play of our games and are shown in pounds Stirling including all taxes if applicable.

1.2- All other services that are not included in the initial reservation will be billed in addition.

1.3- Keylock Games ltd reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Services will be billed according to the rates in effect at the moment the order is placed.

2 – RESERVATIONS

2.1- All reservations are processed in real time and are subject to availability. The sale will not be considered final until receipt of a confirmation email from Keylock Games ltd with the order number. The buyer’s bank account will immediately be debited for the number of services booked.

3 – EXCHANGES/CANCELATIONS

3.1 Escape Rooms are a live event therefore bookings cannot be refunded or exchanged unless the booked game is cancelled by Keylock Games ltd or 48 hours’ notice is given by the purchaser.

3.2- Games, components, and puzzles are to be regarded as confidential. Any full or partial disclosure or publication to any third party violates Keylock Games ltd business interests. discovery of aforementioned breaches in confidentiality without permission, can lead to a cancellation of your game without refund.

4 – METHODS OF PAYMENT 

4.1 – Keylock Games LTD will accept payment by credit/debit card via our online portal. We also accept cash payments in store as well as contactless payments instore.

5 – SECURITY OF PAYMENT AND PERSONAL DATA

5.1- Keylock Games ltd has entrusted its payment system to a specialist in online payment security (Stripe). We do not keep any customer credit card information on our database.

5.2- Personal data by booking through Keylock Games ltd, you consent to the use of those items of your personal data which are necessary to ensure the proper processing of orders. Keylock Games ltd undertakes to only use of this database for information purposes and commercial offers for Keylock Games ltd, and not to divulge these data to third parties except upon request by a judicial authority or other administrative authority empowered by law to request the communication of this information. All data is handled with the greatest degree of care and discretion.

5.3- Only person(s) of at least 16 years of age are permitted to book an Escape Room Game, however younger players are entitled to play if accompanied by a paying adult.

6 – ELECTRONIC BOOKING

6.1- Each booking has a unique order number which permits the access to our game.

6.2- The buyer will receive by email a booking confirmation that includes, order number, the exact date, and time of this reservation.

7 – INTERNAL REGULATIONS FOR THE GAME AT KEYLOCK GAMES LTD

7.1- All children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a person aged 16+ years.

7.2- You have expressly agreed to participate to play Escape Room Games at your sole risk.

7.3- You shall be solely responsible and accountable for your personal safety and state of health while you participate in the games at Keylock Games ltd. Please contact us prior to booking if you wish to discuss any health concerns. 

7.4- Regretfully some of our escape room games do not have wheelchair access due to the nature of the building, if you have any questions about disability access, please contact us prior to booking.

7.5- Keylock Games ltd recommend that teams arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the game. It is also advised that players allow for up to 10 minutes after their game for a de brief.

7.6- Keylock Games ltd will accommodate for lateness where possible it does however reserve the right to cancel the booking 15 minutes after the booking time slot is scheduled to begin.

7.7- Food and Drink (except bottled water) may not be taken into the Game Rooms.

7.8- You are recommended to wear suitable footwear and clothing; no specialist clothing or equipment is required.

7.9- Keylock Games ltd reserves the right to refuse your entry to the site if you are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7.10- Keylock Games ltd reserves the right to charge the guests for any damage which is intentional or caused by mis-use of items.

7.11- Keylock Games ltd does its utmost to offer you a game room that lives up to your expectations. However, the order, arrangement and casting of the game remain at the discretion of Keylock Games ltd.

7.12- It is strictly prohibited to take pictures, film or to record all or part of the game. There will be opportunity for your team to have a photo taken at the end of your game. We ask all our guests to not share any of the solutions or processes that are involved in the game.

7.13- Keylock Games ltd declines all responsibility for any damages relating to objects belonging to customers. Please make use of the lockers provided. All items left in the locker are done so at your own risk.

7.14- CCTV is used to monitor the game. By participating in one of Keylock Games ltd.’s games you consent to the use of CCTV in the game. Logs are held for no more than 30 days.

7.15- Keylock Games ltd does not tolerate any kind of harassment towards its employees and reserves the right to remove you from the premises without compensation.
